“THE MISSIONS SECRETARIAT is the link between missionary work, missionaries and the denomination.”

Composed of the Secretary of Missions and team, it advises the Regional Convention on the implementation of missionary projects, coordinates mission campaigns, creates strategies for collecting donations from churches and individuals and encourages the missionary adoption program at the state level. It is also responsible for creating local and state missionary projects and promoting symposiums and courses for missionary updating, in addition to preparing material  videos and mission information.

 

GOALS

• Mobilize Churches in relation to missionary work in the State of Minas. Awakening the Church's vision and missionary awareness in relation to the challenge that evangelization represents.

• Seek support and partnerships to abundantly proclaim the gospel of Jesus in cities and communities.

• Promote humanitarian actions to improve the lives of the people of Minas Gerais, in this way, seeking to break the cycle of misery for these people with awareness-raising actions and providing viable, possible and effective possibilities.

• Support the Planting of new Churches and help strengthen existing Churches.

• Recruit volunteers to participate in temporary and periodic projects and programs.

• Develop an administration program capable of planning, executing, monitoring and evaluating, as well as wisely managing the resources acquired from partnerships, with a view to maintaining and expanding the Kingdom of God.

• Intercede – Form a network of intercessors for the work of the State.

• Hold workshops and courses where the community can learn how to earn a living even in times of crisis in the country.

• Provide scholarships for needy seminary students.
